Polywatch is a very effective polish used in the trade to remove light scratches and swirl marks from plastic and acrylic watch glasses. It works by dissolving tiny particles of the watch crystal and smoothing them into the edges of the scratch in order to form an even surface. Simply apply a small amount of polish to the watch glass and buff vigorously using a piece of cotton wool or a cotton pad with moderate pressure for 2-3 minutes. Deeply scratched areas may need more than one treatment and may sometimes only be improved not removed depending on the depth of the scratch.

Please be aware the term watch glass is used because that is the name for the cover over the face of a watch whether they are made from actual glass or plastic. This will not work on any type of glass or hardened plastic only softer plastics. Polywatch is designed for use on watch glasses and sold as such but may also work on other types of softer plastic. Results will vary based on the type of plastic, severity of the scratches and product application.
